TOWER PINKERTON DETECTIVE HANDCUFFS 2ND MODEL ca. 1887
Rare 2ND model of the famous Pinkerton handcuffs manufactured by Towers and sold as Tower's Detective Lightweight Handcuffs.
The first model featured 3 chain links, this is the later model featuring a single oval link.
The handcuff is famous for being one of Houdini's favorites during his handcuff challenge years as he noted in his book Handcuff Secrets, the Tower's Detective is an easy cuff to get out of.
This cuff is excellent plus condition. The edges are sharp indicating very little to possibly no use. They come with the original key.
