Tower Detective Lightweight Handcuffs (ca. 1887)
This is the early 3-link model most collectors know as the "Pinkerton's" — the style tied to the old Pinkerton detective agency. Nice brown patina throughout, comes with the original key. Lighter and more compact than most cuffs from this era, which is exactly why detectives favored them — easy to carry, easy to conceal.

Marlin Daly Bottleneck Handcuffs (ca. 1879)
An early example of the Marlin Daly, dating to around 1879, with the larger "bottleneck" shape that's most desirable on this pattern. 80% plating remaining and the stampings are strong and easy to read, including the 1879 patent mark. Comes with the original key. Early production pieces like this one don't turn up often.

Tower Bottom Keyway Handcuffs (ca. 1880)
Handsome brown finish with a smooth, even patina — no rough spots or pitting anywhere. Comes with the original key. This "bottom keyway" style refers to where the key slot sits on the cuff, a nice variation for anyone building out different Tower models.

Providence Tool Co. Handcuffs (ca. 1861)
A genuine Civil War-era pair, and the condition is excellent — smooth finish, comes with the original key, and the markings on both cuffs are still strong and clearly legible. Finding a piece this old with markings this crisp is unusual — most from this period have worn down a lot more.

Bean Cobb Handcuffs (ca. 1899)
Good solid honest wear on this pair — about 80% plating remaining, with the kind of patina that comes from a long working life, not damage. Comes with the original key. Stamped "Pat May 2" on one side and "Pat May 2 1899" on the other — a nice detail for anyone who likes their pieces dated.

Lot 01 — Tower Bean Handcuffs (ca. 1910)
Beautiful condition on this one — 95% of the original plating is still intact, which is rare to find. Comes with the original key, stamped "Tower Bean's Pattern." If you're looking for a piece that looks as good as it works, this is it.

Froggatt was an English manufacturer that supplied thousands of handcuffs to America during the Civil War and later became the secret handcuff maker of choice for Houdini himself. This example is stamped "Hard" and "3" with smooth brown patina and very good mechanical condition throughout. Working key included — note: screw key in slightly then pull to open cuff.

Agency marked Tower cuffs are always more desirable than unmarked examples and this one carries the "E.C. JAIL" stamping — a marking that raises an intriguing question of origin. E.C. could stand for Erie County, Eau Claire, or Essex — the exact jurisdiction remains open to collector debate but the stamping is genuine and the provenance is real. 3-link late model marked "Towers Double Lock" with excellent mechanics and approximately 80% original finish.
