Escape Artist Michael Griffin Buys Vintage Handcuffs for Performances

Escape artist Michael Griffin is seeking vintage handcuffs to use in his daring performances. From mainstream brands to rare and antique finds, Michael is willing to pay cash for handcuffs that meet his criteria of good working condition and historic value. Contact him to sell your vintage handcuffs and receive a fair price.

Escape artist Michael Griffin certainly has an eye for the exotic - and a knack for getting out of handcuffs. The renowned performer has carved out a niche for himself as an escape artist, earning accolades for his daring feats, and is offering large sums of cash for old handcuffs.

Michael has become a well-known figure in the world of escapology, performing his intricate and dangerous acts in front of large crowds, including at several high-profile shows on television. Most recently, he appeared in a video on Instagram where he offers to purchase handcuffs from anyone who has found themselves in possession of the vintage items. His "Handcuffs for Cash" scheme is a way for Michael to source the unique equipment he needs to create unique pieces for his performances.

Sourcing handcuffs that have stories to tell is paramount for Michael, as it helps him to cultivate the perfect atmosphere for his particular style of performance. He's known for executing daring feats of strength, skill, and focus, often involving his body squeezing into tight spaces such as cold iron coffins or chains. In order to challenge himself, he must source equipment that is unique and could only have been crafted with a certain level of dedication and ingenuity.

The vintage handcuffs that Michael is seeking to purchase can range from the more mainstream brands to more obscure and rare finds. As Michael himself explains, antique handcuffs are the best choice for making a spectacular performance. Sometimes, the only way to get them is to "dig deep and get into the nooks and crannies of forgotten stores and warehouses."

The most important aspect of Michael's Handcuffs for Cash scheme is that he doesn't just take any weathered and tarnished pair he can find, as he explains: "the hardware should be in good working condition, and rust should be kept to a minimum when possible." Additionally, Michael looks for handcuffs with a "historic value and a legible manufacturer's mark to add to the authenticity of the artifact."

When it comes to Michael's handcuff acts, no detail is too small. After sourcing the perfect vintage handcuffs, Michael takes the time to properly inspect each and every item to ensure that the keyhole is in good working order, the pin is firmly in place, and that the condition of the metal is such that it won't cause him an injury during a performance.

For anyone who has a vintage pair of handcuffs that meets Michael's criteria, they can contact him directly and receive cash for the item(s). From his website OldHandcuffs.net, Michael Griffin states: "I'm constantly searching for more pieces, so if you've got any you want to part with, let me know! I'll make sure to pay you a fair price for your valuable find."

So if you're in possession of a vintage pair of handcuffs that could be used in the daring performances of master escape artist Michael Griffin, now might be the perfect time to cash in on those old items. You never know, the handcuffs you've been storing away in your attic might be the ones that help Michael pull off his next death-defying feat!

Need Pandemic Cash? Escape Artist Is Offering Cash For Old Handcuffs | Michael Griffin

America’s Escape Hero is looking to help folks whose income may have dried up by paying cash for your old handcuffs.

Michael Griffin, America’s Escape Hero is looking for old handcuffs and is willing to pay, sometimes big bucks for “Jail Jewelry”. It’s a way the magician can help folks out who are shackled financially by the pandemic worldwide.

Griffin admits he isn’t going to be able to solve the world’s problems but for people who are facing a temporary lack of job income and so many people around the globe investigating side-gigs, this is a unique way to bring in some income and clear out old unwanted items you may have laying around.

How much will the Escapeguy pay? according to Griffin “each case is different. I have paid $1,000.00 for certain cuffs all the way down to $10.00.”

like any collecting the things to consider are:

1) Condition (overall condition, plated or a polished finish? does it work? does it have a key?)
2) Age (is this old? some cuffs go back over 300 years)
3) Rarity (some cuffs only had a limited run or, were never put into production)

“All in all, everything is collectible. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure and I have made a lifetime of collecting old vintage handcuffs and escaping from handcuffs around the world and would love to buy your old handcuffs and in turn help you out during this pandemic.
